verruca on hand?

My ds2 is 2 and has what appears to be a verruca on his hand. It is on the palm of his hand and is uncomfortable for him. Is it really likely to be a verruca? If so do I treat it as I would do for one on the foot?

It could be some sort of wart - my DS went through a phase of having these when he was about 5. The dr gave us some liquid to paint on them every day and they gradually disappeared. I'd get it checked by the dr before trying to treat it with anything.

Thanks, I have put some verruca stuff on it so we shall see what happens.

verrucas are a form of wart

Agree with AnyFucker- it's a wart.

A verruca is a wart on the sole of your foot.

Therefore the verruca treatment will work.....

Clear nailpolish may also help "seal" it - I tried it with one I had and it seemed to go quite quickly after tha, whereas the stuff from th echemists didn't appear to make any difference.

Thanks crumpet, I'll try that.
