DD is only 10 days old but is developing colic. I'm so scared that I'm not going to be able to cope as dh isn't usually home from work til 8-9pm and I have a 3 year old to cook for, us to cook for and put 3 year old to bed.

Please advise! She's bf but I have a fast letdown which I don't think is helping the situation.

How do I feed her? She seems hungry but fusses then pulls off and cries after only a few minutes.

Tried infacol just now but most of it got spat back out.

Is it too early to introduce a dummy?

Have you tried Colief? I've heard that it's very effective.

You have my sympathy. Dd had colic from 10 days old, until she was 4.5 months - it's really hard work.

There are some threads on here about effective breast feeding positions for fast let down.

We introduced a dummy at about 3 weeks and it really helped to soothe her. She stopped using it as soon as the colic went.
