Cool bath, helped DS last week.

strip down to just undies, cool flannel on head and neck

Wonderstuff · 23/08/2009 22:36

Call NHS direct or go to casulty? I would be worried about a high temp that wouldn't go down after calpol tbh.

Get in a tepid (not cold, but not hot) bath with him, and bathe him for at least 20 mins...if you have lavender oil put a few drops in, but only after you've turned the taps off.

fan on low near where he sleeps?

gypsymoon · 23/08/2009 22:38

His temp is high, but not scary high. Remember temps are the body's way of fighting infection. Keep him cool, but don't panic...

Thanks! He's just had about a pint of water! he drank it all at once. Have stripped him down/flannel on forehead.
