DS fell in pond

DS aged 16 months fell in garden pond and was splashing about in yucky pondwater for about 5 seconds before my brother fished him out. No signs of tummy or skin problems after 7 days. Could any repercussions still happen? I have looked extensively on the net and can find nothing.

my ds fell in a pond at his sisters school and once i'd fished him out and realised he wasn't drowning, didn't think twice about it. This was two months ago and he seems fine! am sure your little boy is too though am not a medical expert.

DS fell into the pond in exactly the same way when he was 16 months old! He kept sneaking up to it and I finally got fed up of warning him off and just let him fall in .

Fine now (8 years later), no obvious effects.
