DS 20 months tripped and fell today at home and cut under his chin. The cut was small but wide. Bleeding stopped very quickly and we put on a plaster but made me think......

when would you use a steri strip instead??

What do you have at home in your first aid kit and do you carry one in your changing bag?

I personally don't use plasters because I'm allergic to the glue they use and the urchins would only take them off and eat them. The answer to steristrips is anything over the size of a plaster! But I generally just stem the flow, let it clot and just keep a close eye after cleaning with saline and cotton wool.
