but after went to loo with some hard pellet like droppings...in nappy found after cleaned him a bloody bright red mucous blob

should i worry or is it just hard stools scracthed his insides?

latest nappy before bed no blood but no stool

any advice /experience appreciated

Most likely an anal fissure where he as strained a bit. Keep offering fluids - apple and orange juice , maybe diluted or as frozen lollies, and water. Obviously if it continues take sample to the gp.
