Badly infected chickenpox right beside eye

Poor thing. It is all swollen and red round his eye. The doctor though he actually had a black eye.

He is on antibiotics, but it is going to scar I think

Anything I can do to reduce the scarring, bearing in mind it is right by his eye?

DD1 had a badly infected pox near her eye. That one hasn't scarred as such (some others have but not so that you can see unless you really look hard), but she is missing some lower lashes, but thats now part of her look.

Hope your DS is feeling better soon

Thanks. That's good to know it won't necessarily be too bad.

Have put photos on my pofile - the top two.

Rhus tox is a homeopathic remedy that has stopped all mine form scarring, despite scabs being picked and the "pit" looking quite deep.

Hope your son is ok
