A friend of mine has just been diagnosed with shingles - she has a 5 day old baby and is breastfeeding. Anyone have any information for me to tell her as she is very worried.

What is she worried about ? You can't catch chickenpox from shingles with out direct contact with rash and hopefully breastfeeding will give some protection if baby does . what does her mw say ?
