Quick question about chicken pox if anyone's around. Crusting over?

DS (3) has chicken pox. I'm presuming he's reaching the end of the infectious stage, as only two of the spots still have pustules. The thing is though that the spots are not "crusting over" as such. The raised bit is just disappearing leaving a little red scabby thing, like after a zit. A couple of them which he unfortunately scratched through his clothes have a larger dark red indented bit, presumably where the bloody flesh has dried (yuck, sorry). Plus the two remaining pussey ones are going a bit yellow. Is this normal, or are these signs of a problem?
