yet another rash/spots situation

DS1 had spots/rash last week having played in the bushes.

Tonight he has spots on his torso and they are different and we don't know what they are.

Temp this morning - 37.4

Says he feels poorly and has tummy ache.

Kids and their mysterious rashes!!

I guess maybe by the end of the day you'll have a clearer picture of what is going on. Hope he feels better

He has always been a rashy child but these are spots and just kook really strange.

Are they in your book? I guess you've already looked. Maybe he was bitten by somethign?

He didn't eat this morning either which isn't like him at all.

Has he had chicken pox?

He has and tbh it doesn't look like it.

According to my book he has ringworm but I rang DH and he said no.

I will see how he is this afternoon. School haven't phoned yet.

I've had ringworm. It was very definite circles of scaly redness and itchy.

Had to use canesten cream as I was pregnant (gp would have given me oral meds otherwise, apparently). Dh had to minister to all the bits I could not get to - and there were many with such a big tummy!

Because he is a Doctor. Clearly I misheard him when he said he was in finance.

They don't look scaly. Just normal skin but red circles.

Maybe take ds to your GP to settle the argument check what it is.

Surgery shut until 4pm. And at that time you have to be half dead to be seen.

You could tell them that your doctor- husband thinks he has the plague. Should be be seen quickley then

his teacher meets me to say he has struggled but tried really hard and is very tired.
he is pale, has eaten nothing all day except for strawbs ( he is never off his food), is sleepy and floppy and temp is 38.8 but he says he is cold

fab, my ds is the same but no spots..... high temp, floppy, very very tired and wants a blanket on him. he is NEVER like this.

Dd was like this at the weekend (minus the spots)- super tired, temp, lack of appetite. I did wander about swine flu for a few hours but she perked up a bit on sunday although appetite only just returning.

She is still very grumpy though
