Chicken pox starting on the bum or has a bug got trapped in his pants?

DS had 1 spot yesterday on his bum, thought nothing of it.

Today he has 5, they are red with a head, all on his bum.

Doesn't look like he has any anywhere else, do they appear this slowly?

It is rife in his pre-school, but because there are only a few and localised I'm thinking its more likely to be insect bites?

2 of my dcs had most of their chicken pox on their bums, very v v v sore and uncomfortable you have my sympathies,
run out and get some calamine cream and some priton before shops close!

my ds has this at the moment ... his started on his groin .. and have appeared very very slowly! He only has about 20 spots after 3 days!

Have some cream somewhere, shall dig it out, although he's not complaining of them itching yet.

I thought they appeared really quickly.
