son with red limbs etc

my son has woke up a few times this week feeling hot ,and all his body was bright red .he had a runny nose and was a bit cranky ,do u think this could be the start of chicken pox ,

Does he have any spots?

With mine the CP came up very quickly,I had sent ds to nursery spot free,he was a bit sniffly but otherwise OK.11am got a call he was covered in spots.They started onhis trunk,not limbs iirc.

no spots yet ,but as always its doing the rounds up here
