permanent bruise?

hi everyone. not the biggest problem in the world but i am a bit concerned about this. my little one bumped her forehead six or seven weeks ago and she still has a slight bruise and a kind of little dent in her forehead. doc says it could take another six weeks to clear and may never clear properly. has anyone else any experience of this kind of bruise? hate to think she'll have a scar. thanks for reading

Bumping this from ages ago because my dd has the same and I'm wondering if it'll ever go.....

My dd fell over and hit her head and got a "dent" in it, a year later it has diminished somewhat but I was told by my gp that it was some form of cyst? (I think) that forms when a bruise can happen on the head. It will go but will take a fair while - have to say haven't noticed mine on dd for ages.
