My DS is 21 months old and apart from a bit of eczema is in pretty good health, apart from his nose. He seems permanently blocked up, sometimes more than others, and when he breathes through his nose there is quite a strong smell - gross, I know! When snot comes out it smells as well. It's usually greenish, so I know possible infection, but he's not coughing and doesnt seem too bothered by it! I sometimes use Nasosal to have a clear out if he can't breathe well enough to eat or sleep, but haven't needed to for a while. Had monstrous nose bleed 3 weeks ago after fall, and seemed better for a while, but can smelly snot it creeping back in!

Any views welcome

I think you should take him to a doctor as there might be a localised infection there. He doesn't necessarily need to be coughing with it for it to be an infection. I would get him checked out as it is probably easily sorted.
