Antitbiotics - 5 days or 7

dd on ab's for ear infection and a cough . Was told by both dr and pharmacist to take 5 or 7 days' course. Today is day 5. How to decide wheterh to continue ? It is banana flavoured and she hates taking it but should we just finish the bottle ?

how long has she been improved? if in doubt take 7 - need to finish course to prevent re-occurance and if major infection it will need longer dose.

she has been better since Sunday pm. I'm inclined to finish the bottle but whether she will let us ....

If she does
if she doesn't - what'll be will be. the worst that will happen is that the infection returns and she will have to have another dose. depending on age (exclude under twos in this statement) she'll learn.

Wouldn't worry either way just go with gut feeling and see what is possible. We actually got told to stop one lot of antibio early due to the battle to get it into ds.
