Hi all,

This morning and yesterday my DS (6 months) has had some dried blood in his snot. Is this normal? It isn't a full on nosebleed, but it's definitely blood and there is a fair amount.

Thanks.

I'd take him to GP today. Has he had a cold?

My DS been having them since around that age. It really freaked me out when it 1st happened. I took him to doc as he was having them everynight but turns out it's hayfever as we are nosebleed free in the winter.

He has had a couple of colds since birth (thought breastfed babies weren't meant to get them?!) so maybe another one is coming. I asked around today and apparently a bit of blood is fairly common. I think I will make an appt anyway. Thanks for responding.
