Hopefully my last question about chickenpox!

Dd has had chickenpox since Friday and initially was fine, just spotty. She started with a fever on Sunday which has been up and down since, peaking in the night last night. She doesn't feel quite as warm today but is still hotter than normal. Her spots have mainly crusted. Shouldn't she be OK now? We went to the GP yesterday who said it was a pretty bad case and not to worry.

But I am worried. I thought it was generally mild! She's 2 btw.

i had a whole week of ds2 having a high temperature and clinging round my neck
he still has a lot of spots but they are starting to go now and he's in great form
im sure she will be fine

Oh that's encouraging. You read so manu things about the majority of symptoms occurring before the spots appear! I know she has to have it some time, but I never expected it to be so brutal!
