3 week old with purple limbs

My 3 week old DC seems perfectly OK except that in the evenings I notice that DC's left arm seems to go really dark purple, makes tight fists and palms go white. Rest of the arm goes white too if I touch it. Sometimes right arm and legs a bit too, but mostly the left. Not sure if I only notice at bath time, or if it only happens in the evenings.

Is this anything to worry about ?

DS2 had similar and his right arm often felt cold. HV (and she's a good one) wasn't too concerned but said if his arm went blue to get it checked. He grw out of it by a couple of months.

As its going dark purple, I would take a photo and pop him along to the GP.

might be something circulatory, i would certainly get it investigated, to put your mind at rest

My DS's arm did the same and I mentioned it at 6 week check. GP wasn't worried. He is 13 now never had any problems, but ask your HV/GP anyway.
