Urgent ish - Friends DD has squishy lump on head ...

After a fall (I don't know the details), friend is understandably worried and has rung NHS Direct who have her on ringback within an hour.

Her DD seems fine now-eating pizza...should she A&E without waiting or wait for ring back?

lump is good, it means it is swelling outside and not inside.
as long as her DD hasn't been sick/lost consciousness/is unusually sleepy then don't worry.

Nope no sickness etc not even cried since she fell apparently!(did at the time obv)

sounds ok to me then! ds2 did the same the other day, he had the most enormous egg on his head with a nice cut down the middle!
it's still big and bruised and he has 2 black eyes but he's right as rain
