rash in 18 mo ds

My ds developed a rash on his back & stomach yesterday which has not got any worse or better - small red spots, doesn't seem to be itchy. he had a temperature on Thurs & Fri which improved over the weekend - any ideas? He suffers from discoid excema but this looks really different...

Ds had something similar a couple of months ago. Doc said it was a virus related rash and told us to but some aloe vera gel or use aqueous cream if it did start to itch. It went after a couple of days

ds2 has exactly the same thing at the mo, went to gp today, she said glands were up, is a virus type thing. He went off food on friday, grotty on sat, temp sat night, rash sunday, still got it today (its been getting worse)
