does teething cause red cheeks and a temperature

my little one was fine when she went to bed but have been in to check on her and she has red cheeks and feels hot. shes 14 months - is this down to teething???

Could also just be warm in bed.

Mind you...DH and I were always misisng teeth coming through. DS woudl be grumpy etc we'd think he was ill, then 'pop' we'd spot a tooth the day he 'got better'.

HAve a nose at her gums in the am (run finger along them and feel for sharp bits )

she has been getting back teeth popping through but has never had a temperature when her other teeth came through. have given her calpol now to be on the safe side.

Could be. Mine alawys get nappy rash too just to add insult to injury
