Swollen Gland- please stop me stressing!

DS(5) had a viral throat infection from last Thurs, was quite poorly over the weekend and stopped having calpol on Monday. However, the right hand gland in his neck is still visibly swollen and very tender. Please someone, tell me this is normal gland behaviour.

This is normal gland behaviour it will settle, his body is still fighting off the infection.

yes, ds had one of these for months after an infection

always go to doc if worried but this does seem to happen to some children after nasty viral things

Thank you mind is now at rest enough to get to tuesday so the Dr can tell me the same thing!
