How often should I check DS' temperature?

DS has a temperature of around 38C. How often should I check it to make sure it isn't rising too high?

I think it depends on how old he is, why he has a temp and what meds you are giving him. I think I used to do evey 2 or 3 of hours about the same time as the calpol / nurofen (if needed) to keep tabs on how things were going.
