Hi,

This is the first time i have had anything like this with my ds so i don't really know what to do.
He has spots on his face, only just today, but his face is covered in say 50 spots. they look like actual spots a teenager would get. Red and risen and some of them have white heads/blisters on them. He has had a runny nose the past few days and has been really cuddley and affectionate, but other than that i'd say he seems himself. Still interested in eating and drinking.
My gp doesn't have any appointments until Tuesday though so can't see him, they told me to give him calpol.

Try taking him to see a pharmacist? They should be able to tell you if it's chicken pox or anything like it that would require immediate attention.

Chances are, it's the result of a virus where quite often children come out in a rash towards the end of it.

how old is your ds?? it could be infantile acne, which looks just like teenage acne. needs no treatment, it will go by itself in a few weeks. a friend of mine kids had it (all 3), from about a few months old. their skin is fine now.
