lump in newborn ds nipple, is this normal?

my 16 day old ds has a lump under one of his nipples, is this normal? I am seeing health visitor tomorrow, was just wondering if anyone else has?

I think often they have a lot of your hormones on board..My first little boy ahd very swollen nipples when born Keep an eye on it show the HV

I think its like a 'baby mastitis'. My dd had it quite a bit, it settled down after a month. Just let your hv know.

Yes, it's hormone, I believe. Both dd & ds had it. Some even leak milk. It disappears quite quickly though.
