Anyone's DC had a febrile convulsion at under 6 months of age?

According to the doctor's they don't happen until after 6 months of age but my friend thinks her DS had one yesterday.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My dd2 was 16 months. It was very obvious what it was - she lost conciousness, eyes rolled to the back of her head, saliva bubbling out of her mouth, and arms and legs jerking rhythmically. I phoned an ambulance. She diodn't fully regain conciousness for 30 minutes or so.

It might well happen, most gp's haven't heard of febrile convulsions in children over 5 but both my mum and sister had them at 10 and my DS had 2 today at 13.
