After Chicken Pox - is this normal?

My DS (2.11) got chicken pox last Tues, and by this Monday the spots were all crusted over and he seemed ready to go back to Nursery etc.

However, he is really lethargic, a bit tearful, napping again (doesn't as a rule anymore) and has a rather explosive bottom! Oh, and a bit of a runny nose!

Is this the tail end of the pox or has he got something else do you think?

Sounds like he's still recovering. We thought DD2 was suffering with the terrible 2s and we'd lost our happy soul for good after she'd had chickenpox and scarlet fever. It actually took a month for her to recover fully. Hope your DS gets better soon.

Thanks, will keep an eye on him!

both my sons coupled chicken pox with something else. DS1 with a really nasty ear infection, DS2 with skin infection causing rash on body and face, and the worst ever bottom rash, with skin breaking and tearing.
So do not underestimate cp,
