Dear all

My poor DS1 has virulent chicken pox - spots everywhere and in places you really wouldn't want them. I think we have got over the worst of the pustular stage, so it's crust city, here we come.

just wanted any tips you might have about minimising spots - I have shortened nails to prevent harmful scratching, but any other tips - eg creams, lotions, home remedys eg bicarb of soda in the bath?

Just in case....

I am very proud of my chicken pox scars.... They were dreadful when I had it [quite late- aged 16] but have mega faded now and I gave them no special treatment.
