2yo dd has seemingly had a bit of a tummy bug since Saturday. She was sick on Saturday night, and since then has had sloppy nappies. This morning she has produced a very watery nappy. Otherwise, she has been fine, eating, playing and drinking normally and not in any discomfort.

What can I do to help clear it up?

Not much you can do except keep up the fluids and fairly plain foods and if she doesnt want to eat much, dont push her - just concentrate on fluids - we have had a similar bug here and it has taken the best part of a week to get back to normal. I would let her rest at home as well if possible even if she seemed fine.

Thanks for replying. She does seem fine, but I've taken the day off and we are just going to lounge about. She's been asking for chocolate cake! I've given her banana and some toast and was just going to do a bit of plain pasta or a jacket potato for lunch? This is the first encounter we've had with diarrhoea, although she hasn't had a bowel movement since that first one this morning.
