Vomit-related query...What are the chances....??!

I have a pretty big phobia of vomiting, and am feeling really anxious as DD (9) was pretty much 'in the line of fire' when another girl was sick in the changing rooms at school. She also stayed with the girl til a teacher came to help. While I commend her effortto be a good friend, I am pretty stressed about the likelihood now of DD picking up a bug and bringing I into our house. So, what are the chances....????! Should I try to calm myself down or steel myself for a vomit filled week ahead.....? Why does this always happen when the washing machine is out of action - not helping the stress factor, really.......!

Many reasons why kids are sick not necessarily a bug, maybe she ate too many sweets???

I was vomited on as a child (ewww, thanks for raising that memory ) and didn't have a bug after (have just double checked my mum for you , she remembers as I was erm rather traumatised and refused to go to school for a week ). I've also been vomited on in my professional life as a trainee nurse ( something not quite right here...heyho...) and didn't catch a bug. So its not a done deal..stay calm

I've been hurled on a lot in my life and rarely got sick. As long as you practice good hand hygiene and don't actually get sick in your eyes/ears/mouth/nose (sorry) you are normally okay.

Thanks for your comments, guys. Am trying to keep myself calm (if slightly dreading the long night ahead...)
