DD has seemingly become constipated.

She has only ever pooed every 2-3 days, very large motions, that sometimes block the toilet, And although are uncomfortable for her to pass come out like a bullet( sorry if TMI)

She has now not been for 4 days, and was up all last night crying and asking to go to the toilet and try. with no success.
This morning she seems to be getting intermittent cramp type pains and is leaking brown fluid from her bottom.

Should I ring out of hours or see Dr tomorrow?
What would they do anyway?

think I would go to out of hours today. The brown fluid is overflow and if she is in a lot of pain with it then wouldn't wait till tomorrow. Gp will probably give her movicol which is dissolved in water to drink. its usually very effective and gentle. hth

Thankyou, she seem ok at the moment, but she was in so much pain last night, I really don't want to ignore it.
