dd started vomiting on sunday and couldn't keep even water down. She was very lethargic. On monday, she was sick a little bit, but i noticed a bit of it was green. took her to a doctor who advised sick was green because she was being sick with nothing in her tummy. He diagnosed tummy bug and just ride it out. Since then, the vomiting has been dissipating, but she was up all night with stomach pains (which calpol doesn't seem to be touching), and she has been sleeping all the time. She still wont eat anything but is managing to keep her fluids down.....can anyone give me advice, as i'm not happy with doc's diagnosis.

Take her back if you don't agree.

Green sick is bile, we all vomit this if there's nothing in the stomach. Where does it hurt? Any diarhhoea?

Thanks...we ended up at hospital last night. Emergency doc diagnosed severe constipation and gave dd 2 strong laxatives...anyway turned out she had gastro virus and laxatives were totally the opposite of what she needed....it caused some pretty major spasms and we got referred to hospital....all fine now, and finally shes showing some signs of improvement although still eating next to nothing
