Ds (22 months) has a fractured fibula (the thin bone in lower leg) but hospital haven't put it in a cast or told us to keep him off that leg. Does anyone know if this will be damaging?

He has been limping / collapsing in pain every nw and then, but otherwise running around and jumping..

That's odd. I think it depends on the fracture, if it's titchy then they tend not to plaster them, especially in little children as they heal really quickly.

It shouldn't be damaged. Does he have to go back? It will be painful, give him some ibuprofen for this.
