Ds woke up this mornign with bright red cheeks, one worse than the other, one side spread up to his hair line, its blotchy and 'rough' to the touch and is hot to touch!

He is totally fine in himself, eating nnormally, annoying his sister and no temp, any ideas before i take him to the docs tomorrow?

Thanks

doesn't sound like it is connected to the sun or suncream. Are you going to phone doc in morn?

I agree re slapped cheek

My Ds had it - started on his face and moved down his body over a week or so. It looked sort of lacy on his upper arms and legs.

my son gets like this after a dose of sunshine and I thought it was heat rash..but he could be allergic to sunscreen...would love to know what your diagnosis is.. (my son also puffs up)
