Does this sound like a bug or something she has eaten?

Dd1 was sick 3 times in the night, no temp, slight tummy ache, managed to get her to sleep at 1 am and this morning she seems fine, asking for drink and breakfast. Nobody else has been ill at home or school. We had a take away last night, could it be food poisoning or just something that hasn't agreed with her? or is it a bug?

could easily still be a bug and you cant really know that noone at school has been ill(or their siblings etc)

if it was food poisoning, wouldn't you all have it

small cildren often get over a sicky bug really quickly

sounds like a quick 24 hour bug to me
hope she carries on feeling better

She had a bug a month or so ago and was really ill with it. It doesn't take much to make her sick not like her sister who has a stomach of steal. Dh said his tummy feels a bit odd but again it takes a lot to make him sick.

We have felt ill before after using this takeaway which is why we suspected it could be that. We also had a busy day yesterday and dd ate a lot more than she normally would.

I'm worried as i am a sickness phobic and i don't want to catch it if its a bug.

hi marne
sorry I didn't come back
how is she?

are you ok, I am a recovering emetophobe and I know exactly how you feel

Thanks Trinity, she's fine now and nobody else have come down with it (thank god). Luckily dh dealt with most of it as he knows how anxious i get. I have only just started to relax thinking that sick bug season had gone (i would rather have swine flu than a stomach bug ).
