Not sure what to do - DS sore penis.

DS1 (4) has come home from school with a sore penis, he won't let me touch it to see closley as he says it hurts to touch and he says it hurts to do a wee, i have noticed he is also not touching it which is odd for him. From what i can see though it all looks normal, no reddness or swelling. He does have a history of Ballonitus but when he has has that before it has gone purple and really swollen.
Fine in himself apart from that. Ideas anyone?

I remember my little brother had an infection under his foreskin when we were kids and he was making similar complaints!

I'd ring the doctor and get an appointment today given the B/H weekend

I can't get an apt today i have already tried! We do have an excellent out of hours service though. Im just thinking he's not going to let a doctor look at it if he wont let me touch it! Aparently he has been fine at school and he was only bathed yesterday so i don't think it's any dirt causing an irratation.
