Mouth Ulcers

A few months ago Tink had a load of ulcer that moved around her mouth over a few days. Then all but one disappeared. The one that stayed is still there and is getting bigger. I mentioned it to the GP today and she's going to get in touch with Tink's paediatrician so that she can be seen quickly and without adding a third paediatrician into our lives.

Has anyone got any experiences of mouth ulcers from their own children? The GP mentioned a name but I didn't catch it. It seems odd to me that she wants to get her seen at the hospital soon.

Hi!
could I ask why does she see a paed and how old is she?

TBM · 28/04/2009 00:57

Sorry, I forgot that bit

Se sees a general paed for her chronic asthma who has just sent her to an ENT because she thinks she has post-nasal drip causing a lot of her problems so there is a possibility of er adenoids coming out.

Se is 2y 9m.

I'm not sure~I'm surprised she was referred for ulcers alone but I have heard of a connection between ulcers and crohns disease.

but also thought that they are usually not significant
