chicken pox and only a few spots?

Hello

I'm not sure if dc no 5 has chicken pox or not. She's three and has a few itchy spots under her armpits, on her arms and a few on her upper torso. One on her face, none on her legs. I know that they are itching her but otherwise she is well.
With my other there was no doubting that they had chicken pox but this time I'm not too sure.

The spots she has look like pox spots, red with blistery centre that crusts over when scratched.

Is it possible to only have a few spots? Does it have to be a full blown rash?

I don't care particularly I would quite like to know if she's had them that's all and I can't be arsed to go to the dr!!!!

Experiences please!!!

Thanks

My dd had very few spots when she had chicken pox, but was very poorly for about 2 days prior to them appearing. It was only because chicken pox wiped out the whole nursery that I was sure what they were!
