any reason other than a urine infection, dd seems absolutly fine in herself. and should I do anything if she is not poorly.

Yes take her to the gp. this happens to my friends dd and it always means she has an infection although she is never ill. It can lead to kidney infections which are very painful, a quick check by the gp will put your mind at rest. ABs will fix it.
