impetigo - what does it look like at very first?

IYSWIM! DS's eczema is flaring at moment and yesterday he developed 3 or4 little red blobs around eyes and mouth, which have increased in number in last few hours but not gone blistery (yet). Thought it was allergy / eczema related but am now wondering. I guess the next few hours will tell all.

Yup, this sounds like impetigo. Off to the GP, they can see and treat. It's highly infectious though so no school/nursery.
