sickness and the runs going on for 5 days.. *help*`

hi i was hopeing somebody could help
my dd is 13month and started to be sick on friday (which has got better but hasnt stopped)and then developed a runny bum on sunday. (this is still going strong!!)
has anyone got any advice or is it time to go docters.

I would take her to the docs just to be on the safe side, 5 days is a long time. Hope dd gets well soon

Ds2 (16m) has just this, there are some very nasty gastro bugs around at the moment.

He started getting better around day 5, took until day 7 to be nearly back to normal.

my dd has had exactly the same thing, but she is older than your dd

I would take her to the Drs, but there isn't much they can prescribe, but they can rule out ant other causes

keep her fluids up

If she's keeping some fluids down now, you may be over the worst. If not, demand to see or talk to a doctor.

i got my docter to ring and he said to give her lots of fluids and that she will be fine if her nappys are still wet. if her nappys dry up i have to ring emergency drs
