He's nearly 6. Yesterday after a party he was v tired but went to play on his climbing frame, it's one of those tallish ones with a slide off it.

He was lying on the top bit where the poles all cross over in like a spider shape, and went too far over one side, and slid down and hit the top of his nose, between his eyes/ eyebrows, on the cross bar

He screamed a lot so I knew it was quite bad, but nothing was really visible except a couple of little bruises and redness by his nose.

He was fine last night, and is OK today but he says his nose hurts, as though he has a cold. He's been blowing it and there was a little bit of dried blood.

I've suddenly thought, perhaps I need to treat this as a head injury - but he says it doesn't hurt that much. It didn't bleed yesterday and he wasn't sick or anything.

ow poor thing.

he'll be ok, my son flattened his nose whilst falling off a climbing rock, he blackened his eyes too i took him to a & e and they just looked up his nose but told me it looked fine.

it will heal quickly. just make sure he takes it easy for a while.

Actually I would get it checked in case his nose broken. My brother bashed his nose and just left it and then had problems later where his nose had grown back slightly crooked. Sorry

Thankyou

Especially like the last comment:

'And there is nothing wrong with getting a few dozen second opinions if this is your first child.'!!!
