yes -and have you tried nurofen..it is not miraculous but does seem to work better than calpol in getting temp down.

dinny · 14/04/2009 21:00

gosh, yes - haven't you been for the diaorrhea yet?

poppy34 · 14/04/2009 21:01

that said dh had upset tummy (note how I opt out of spelling ) for a week or so at same age and it cleared up - but it wasnt that bad (only 3/4 nappies a day). But I'd go to gp for proper advice .

What have you tried to lower the temp so far cc?

calaminecovered · 14/04/2009 21:01

I feel bad now, it must be the third baby thing! I thought you coouldn't give nurofen under six months? Have given her calpol tonight.

Calpol? Nurofen? stripping off? sponging with cool (not cold) flannel? Opening windows?

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/04/2009 21:03

Nurofen is 3 months .

calaminecovered · 14/04/2009 21:07

Good to know about nurofen, has always worked better with the older two so will try that when she wakes later. She is still feeding fine. Is on lactose free formula, had lots of tummy probs so hadn't been too worried about that until the temp started today. Will call GP in the morning and hope they will squeeze her in!

I don't tend to take mine to GP much either cc, as there's generally very little that they can do. Tend to take only if I think that symptom's could be an ear infection, as I wouldn't be able to see that myself, and there's something they can do to help.
