DD sleepy after 1st jabs

DD had her first immunisations today and has been quite cranky and upset since then. She had two good feeds since then and at one point was happily smiling and cooing. However, she has been sleeping for the last 2.5 hours and while she is stirring she just isn't waking up. I am not worried that there is something seriously wrong (or I'd be dialling 999 not MN) but just wondered if this is common and if anyone else has experienced this how long we can expect it to last? I've tried waking her for a feed but no success so far.

Perhaps I should be worried? She acting more like its the middle of the night!

DS2 was like this for about 24 hours after his first jabs! We left him with the in-laws and went out for dinner

DS was sleepy after his 1st jabs too. He was waking for feeds though then going back to sleep.

Thanks IwishIwasmoreorganised & smurfette.

Iwish - love your idea of going out. DD has just been through a growth spurt so I took advantage of her sleepiness and had an early night!

Smurfette - thats exactly what she did in the end. She seems fine today.

Thanks for your replies

Glad she's fine

I hoped for that sleepiness with the 2nd lot so I could rest a bit but it never happened!!

Me too - no such luck here either!
