Vomiting with a cold but otherwise fine?

DS 8 months old and been vomitting between once and 3 times per week for about 8 weeks. Was always a sicky baby but stopped being sick after bottles/food for a few weeks when started solids. Been to docs 3 times, HV twice and still on going. He has had a cold/chesty cough for approx 4 weeks of this time and had a course of penicillin which ended last week. Was really hopeful that would stop but last two days been worse than ever. He is perfectly fine in himself, cheerful, sleeping well & no other probs at all apart from snotty and sick.
Any ideas?

Maybe if he's snotty some of it is getting into his tummy and making him sick? Would keep going back to the doctors though, until you're satisfied with any advice they give you.

I think thats what it is tbh but as its gone on for so long I'm starting to worry.
Off to docs on tues then.. (with smiling, laughing, weight gaining DS, why do kids always seem fine when you take them to docs??)
