last night DS seemed a bit under the weather, so when I settled him for the second time at 11 I put some calpol in a syrine ready for if needed during the night (in a bowl, clingfilm on top). I do it most times when I think he'll need it overnight as it saves faffing about with the bottle and measuring spoon.
He slept all night until 6.30 But at nursery today they called to say he had a bit of a temp, and was a bit clingy and teary. I'm 90% sure it's a recurrent problem he has with perforating eardrums (is undergoing tests for it), so I want to give him calpol before bed, even tho he seems OK just to keep his temp down and try to settle him.
Well...after the build up, the question is, would you use calpol that's been in the syringe for almost 24 hours/ Or did it really need to be sealed in the bottle?
