stupid question - how do you know if a tooth has gone woobly after know to it

little one of 20 months wont let me look in mouth but fell onto his face real bad!!!! on to steps

and felt like real hard knock on molars

wont let me near him

wimpered a bit ...suddenly screamed few mins after then now ok!

but cant see inside mouth to see if molars ok

and look in his mouth....oh never can do that!

just wondering if no blood should i reassure myself?
