Tummy bug seems better but vomits once every 2- 3 days....

My 7 month old DS had a horrible tummy bug which lasted most of last week. He had vomiting and diarrhea and was generally unwell. He has been much better this week, I would say 100% apart from the fact that every 2 or 3 days he projectile vomits as though he still has the bug and is then fine again. I asked the health visitor about this and she said it's completely normal as he still has a tiny bit of the virus in his tummy but how long will it go on for?? Does anyone else have any experience of this? Help!

yes both my boys had this over christmas and everyt time we thought they'd got over it they'd suddenly puke everywhere.
I wouldn't imagine it'll be too much longer before he's ok though.
think ours lasted 2 weeks max

hi, my daughter and i have had windy blaotedness for a bout a week, and slight tummy ache.

She ws off with tum pains wednesday, back at school yesterday, but developed a cough and today has had pains again. The this eve has been sick. its very weird.
