Dd2 has been unwell on and off for a couple of weeks with croup, coughs and diarhia(sp). Last night was a bad night and she was up most of the night, she has nappy rash and i think she must be in pain down there. She's 3 years old and has ASD, she doesn't like having her nappy off so at the moment that isn't an option. Last time i changed her i noticed a yellow/green discharge in her nappy, is this caused by the nappy rash or something else?

It sounds like she has some sort of infection i'd take her to a walk in centre and get her checked out.

Try metanium for the nappy rash. It really is great stuff. If that doesn't work definately get it checked out. When metanium didn't work for ds's nappy rash the HV diagnosed thrush and gave us some canestan cream iirc. It would be worth popping to the walk in centre though if you can.

Yes I think she should be seen by a doctor, yellow/green colour is a sign of infection that shouldn't be there.

And I think she should be seen today as she is in pain, and if it's something like an infected wound or urinary tract infection, then it should be treated immediately..

She doesn't seem like see's in pain now but last night she was really upset. I have started using metanium on her. I can't really leave the house today as Dh had surgery yesterday and i have to stay with him also got no one to look after dd1 .
