MMR jab area red and swollen

My ds had his MMR jab on tuesday and today the area is red and swollen but far more than i expected to see. Its about 2/3 inchs round?

Is this ok??

My ds's whole thigh got really swollen and red. I called the NHS line who said if he didn't have a temp and was otherwise well, he should be fine and it was probably just where they'd injected into the muscle. They told me to give him a bit of ibuprofen for the anti-inflamitery(sp?).

If it is bigger than a 10p it needs checking.
